It's identical in every way to every other tube mag marlin bolt action .22lr except for some tiny difference in the stock. Dad jury rigged an aperture sight for it and I could hit a grey squirred right thru the head every time at 25-30 yards.I noticed the tube fed models aren't displayed on the Marlin website any longer, but they do mention the tube fed models have been reduced in capacity, 12 rounds I think. I'm glad I picked one up when I did. I just put a scope on mine, a decent cheap scope for a decent cheap rifle. I found a 3-9 X32 Leapers UTG over at Optics Planet for 39.99.As a second level to the question, how do you think the Marlin XT .22 tube-fed rifle compares? I know that there are a LOT of precision .22lr rifles out there. I like the looks of the CZ a lot, and it is affordable. HOWEVER, it has a detachable magazine. I am only interested in tube-fed magazines for some reason. being in California doesn't help..
